The CO2 Tracker must be set up with the following:
Registration method
There will be these 3 registration methods
Distance
The registration method "Distance" is used in connection with transport costs where a distance is covered in a means of transport by the individual user. For the individual cost (e.g. taxi, train, bus or flight) the user is asked to indicate two things on the cost:
- Transport type
- Distance
Below is an example of setting up the Taxi account
Example of input in Acubiz App.
Quantity
The registration method "Quantity" is used in connection with costs where the user has purchased a quantity that can be the basis for CO2 registration. This could, for example, be fuel or charging an electric car. The user must specify two things on the cost
- Transport type
- Quantity
Example of setting up the cost type Fuel.
Example of use in the Acubiz app.
Route
Alternative to route registration: Route registration requires a list of travel points to be created in Acubiz - usually these are airports. To avoid the administrative task of maintaining a list of specific airports, instead use the "distance" model for recording CO2 for flight expenses. |
The Route registration method will normally only be used in connection with flight consumption. The idea is that in Acubiz a list of airports is uploaded (Acubiz can offer a standard list) where the user must thus select the airports that the individual plane ticket has had as respectively start, intermediate and final destinations. Based on these choices by the user, the distance traveled by the traveler on the individual flight ticket can thus be calculated.
Example of setting up the Flight cost type where the user must decide on a route based on the choice of airports (attached files for use for possible import). Airports can also be entered manually via the administration module under the Airports dimension
Transport types
The transport types offered in Acubiz are the list below. Each individual transport type can be specified as to whether it is relevant for the individual cost type.
- Car - Petrol/Diesel
- Car - Electric car
- Car - Hybrid
- Airplane
- Hardware - Used
- Hardware - New
- Helicopter
- Motorcycle - Petrol/Diesel
- Motorcycle - Electric
- Public transport - Bus
- Public transport - Train
- Taxi - Petrol/Diesel
- Taxi - Electric
Here, of course, it is up to the company's Acubiz Pro-User (What is a Pro-User?) to only select the types of transport that make sense in relation to the registration method and the cost type.
