If you, as an Acubiz customer, have one company (entity) in Acubiz and expand the company, this must also be reflected in Acubiz with several companies (multiple entities). An expansion with more companies will not, as default, affect the users of the existing company, but it will change some things in connection with the administration of your Acubiz solution going forward.

Switch between companies:
Example of an Acubiz solution where there are companies in DK, SE, DE, NO and FI where you can switch between the companies.
The possibilities depend on the user's roles and access in Acubiz.
The setup of the individual user in Acubiz
In a single company structure, users are created in one and the same company, but when expanding with several companies, there is now an additional parameter to decide on, namely the user's affiliation with the primary company and extended roles in secondary companies.
Primary company:
The primary company is the company where the user is employed and incurs his costs. It must now be decided which primary company the user belongs to via this function on the user's setup:
Here the primary company is selected and only one primary company can be selected.
If a user needs to be able to make settlements in several companies, an additional function can be purchased in Acubiz to handle this ->
Access to secondary companies.
Other influences
There may be other things that are affected by a change from one company to several companies, but of course this may depend on needs and setups
- Accounting data integrations (both manual and automated)
- Integrations for exchange of master data (automated)
- Integrations for credit card transactions (depends on the bank and agreement setup with the bank)
- Setup in the new companies, such as:
- Accounts (financial accounts and/or vendor setups)
- Financial dimensions
- General setup of functions in Acubiz
Therefore, it is always a good idea to consult with Acubiz before planning such changes.
