Acubiz supports a setup where it is possible to specify an additional approver on the user's profile.

An additional approver can be set up on one of the following models, which this article is about:

1. Mandatory 2nd approver
2. Alternative approver

Mandatory 2nd approver

In Acubiz, it is standard that an approver is set up on the user's profile, but with the add-on function, an additional required final approver can be added to the user's profile.

Here, all transactions from the user will be sent to the approver registered to the user. Employee and approver work in the Acubiz app.

Approval flow with mandatory 2nd approver

Like the normal flow, an extra approver is added based on the user's setup. Still a linear flow as shown below. The transactions thus have to go through several stages before final approval.

Alternative approver

The function with alternative approver is based on the same purchase module as the mandatory 2nd approver, but with a different structure in the approval flow.
