In order to use the Acubiz app, you must set permissions on your phone as soon as you open the Acubiz app and start using the various functions.

Notifications

You must indicate whether Acubiz is allowed to send you push notifications or not.

Camera

You must specify permission if Acubiz is allowed to use the phone's camera.

Photo library

You must indicate whether Acubiz is allowed to use your photo library.

• Restrict access
  Here you can, for example, specify access to a specific album where Acubiz can save and retrieve images from, so that it is not all images and videos in your photo library.

  • The following popup appears if you have specified limited access
    

    • Under settings on the phone, you can then choose to add a new photo to the collection, under "Edit selected photos"
    • Select the photo you want to add to the collection and click OK.
    • Next, go back to the Acubiz app
    • Back in the app, where the gallery is open: Now you can select the photo you have added to the collection. 
• Allow full access
  This permission will give Acubiz access to look through your entire photo library. This can be an advantage if you take a picture of a receipt with the camera outside the Acubiz app, or have taken a screenshot that you want to use in Acubiz, as these will be in your general photo library and not in a restricted area.
• Do not allow

Location

You must indicate whether Acubiz may use your location (GPS) in relation to registering tax-free driving settlements.

• Allow once
  This setting will cause Acubiz to use your location only once. Every time you have to make a driving registration, you will be asked if the location can be used.
• Allow while using app
  This setting gives Acubiz general permission to use your location when you use the Acubiz app in general for driving records.
• Do not allow

Permissions settings

You can always change these permissions on your phone. In the phone's settings, find Acubiz and select the permissions you want:
