It is possible to order a TEST environment in Acubiz.
Ordering a test environment is not included in the normal subscription/license agreement and is invoiced separately. In general, there will be an additional cost of:

When an agreement has been made to create a test environment, the test environment will be a copy of your current PROD environment with 100% identical settings.
- A copy of PROD will NOT contain transaction data
- Additional consultant time can be purchased to create any test credit card transactions, if desired.
Therefore, a test environment will be empty of transactions, and it will be your own responsibility to have test transactions created to test any export results. A test environment is often used in connection with setup changes to be made in Acubiz, which must be tested before being put into PROD. It could be:
- Transition to a new ERP/accounting system
- Transition to partial/full automation
- Change of salary system
- Testing of new features
- Educational purposes
- Division of tasks
- Refresh of copy from PROD
Transition to a new ERP/accounting system
This can be a radical change to the setup in Acubiz. Examples of tasks:
- New account numbers
- Updating the cost types
- Updating credit card accounts (provision and monthly invoice)
- Update of employee postings (new creditor numbers, new interim accounts)
- New dimension structure (new dimension levels / new values)
- New export formats
Transition to partial/full automation
Examples of tasks:
- Automatic maintenance of user master data
- Automatic maintenance of dimension master data
- Automatic exchange of data to the ERP system (files or via API)
Change of salary system
Examples of tasks:
- Changing the user's employee number
- Changing the export format
- Change of wage type codes
Testing of new features
Should there be any new features that are wanted to be tested so that it does not affect PROD, a test environment can also be used for this.
Educational purposes
In larger companies, a test environment can be used for training new users. However, this is not a normal procedure but an option if the need is desired.
Division of tasks
It is important to point out that the above changes and tests must be done by the company itself. Access to the Acubiz test environment will be granted to the same users who are in PROD and will have the same access rights as in PROD. When creating a test environment, you will be informed about access to:
- Included in standard test environment:
- Web administration
- Acubiz app
- Additional purchases:
- MFT (SFTP)
- Acubiz API access
Refresh of copy from PROD
A refresh of PROD data in a test environment is not included, but can be purchased as needed. Depending on the number of companies in your Acubiz solution, the price for a refresh will be calculated individually.
