With the Out Of Office feature, it is possible for approvers to delegate its responsibility as approver, in a predefined period to another approver in Acubiz. Out of office can be used in case of ...
- … business travel
- … vacation
- … sickleave
- or other absence
Important. The intention behind Acubiz's Out of Office function is that the responsibility for approval is delegated to another person, who thus takes over exactly the same privileges as the delegating person. Therefore, it is important that a deputy is at the same hierarchical level or higher. Delegating down the hierarchy should not be done, as there is a risk that the deputy will have to approve their own transactions. |
When you activate the Out Of Office feature, you must enter a from- and to- period where the delegation of approval responsibilities is to be transferred
Both days are included in the period
Once the period is specified, selecting an approver who assumes responsibility and privileges, in the same period.
Are both period and approver defined, press the "activate" to activate "Out Of Office" function.
If Out Of Office expires ex. 23-04-2015 it will automatically be disabled d. 24-04-2015 at. 0:01, if you do not manually disable the function.
Delegate approver privileges
When the Out of Office is enabled, the substitute approver assumes the same privileges as you have. Example.
