Improvements/New features

iOS:

• Improvements to logic that notifies user of unsaved changes when cancelling out of a transaction in draft-state.

Mileage:

• New feature: Option to add attachments (image) to a Mileage registration.
  • To add attachment, click functions button in top bar. Find the new action: “Attach image”. This opens the capture screen. The added attachment(s) will be visible in the header of the transaction screen.
    
• Improvement: Address-change on tracked mileage introduces a notification:
  “Do you want to recalculate route”. If yes, changes transaction to a Mapped-mileage and uses Google API for new route calculation. If no, leaves route as is, to enable user to enter the particular address of the destination they are visiting. In both cases user is required to indicate why they made the change.
• Improvement: When using odometer for Mileage registrations, do not show decimals.
• Improvement: SSO related session expiration is now suspended while tracking mileage

Allowance:

• Improvement: Multiple adjustments to the data entry form
  
• Changes made:
  • Transaction name moved to the top blue bar.
  • A new header is introduced on the round-trip details, showing trip number.
  • A functions-button is added next to the trip heading. Actions available: “Add” and “Remove” trip.
  • A change is made to the header on page 2. From transaction name and date-frame to “Addition/Deduction”, including subheading: Total days of traveling.
  • Main header on page 3 now shows date-frame instead of transaction name and date-frame

  • Multiple adjustments to the transaction page when viewed by approver.

Bug fixes

• Transactions for approval: No support of Time in datetime fields.
• Password: Did not support leading or trailing spaces.
• iOS: iPhone 6,7,8 latency issues affecting dimension load – if user has logged out of the app.

Expenses:

• Android: Account split with foreign amount returns error.
• Android: Hidden dimensions: Default from staff is not added to transaction. Affects solutions that have dependencies to hidden dimension.

Invoices:

• Application with more than one solution (one-staff): Requester edit does not offer the correct accounts and dimensions when accessing invoice on other solution than home solution.

Mileage:

• Pool car: Data Entry: Changing distance and moving through the steps, returns wrong value for odometer end.
• When attached to an Expense Report a Mileage registration, with a change to calculated distance, can be submitted without entering explanation. Validation now also enabled on Save.
• Android: Reg. no from staff is not defaulted on registration.
• Android: Pool car: Feature uses wildcard search to retrieve list of available pool cars. Wildcard indication in search bar is shown.
• Android: Work-/Home distance is default turned off on Danish solutions. Should be active if Work home distance has been configured in settings.
• iOS: Field “Type” still use “old list-style”.
• iOS: Dimensions are not hidden even though configured on system account.

Time Advanced:

• iOS: Data Entry: If deleting a day in the row, user cannot save the registration. On attempting to delete a day in a row, the day cannot be put in focus afterwards.
• iOS: Edit/view a registration (current week): Defaults to Today’s Day. Should default to the specific registration in the report.
• iOS: iPad: Time registration from My Action list opens as Basic time registration.

Dashboard:

• Android: If access to a module is removed, the corresponding widget is not removed.
• iOS: iPad: Unsettled widget: Click widget opens empty list. List should be loaded before accessing it.

Professional accounts:

• iOS: Subscribe widget is shown even through subscription is active.
• iOS: Subscribe request, to validate for active subscription, is not always sent.

Other

• Additional improvements and fixes implemented via API – since last release:
• Improvement: All transaction types (image 1):
  • Decline from Finance to Approver – Reject notice now visible on transaction

  • Decline reason visibility for Requester
    

Improvement: SSO session timeout logic

• Session expiration (session standard “live time” is ½ hour) will be automatically extended if app is in active state. E.g., a mileage is being tracked. This means that verification against customer’s ADFS not will be requested while “working” with the app.

Fix: Time Advanced

• Weekly time reports with 0 time.
  Time spent is stored in respectively day- or hour-field all dependent on type of registration. API released on the morning of 31-08-2021 did default unit to “day”, so wrong field was retrieved in backend. A fix was implemented immediately on the same day. To recover data on affected registrations a pullback and resubmit is needed. (Note: correct value is stored in the hour-field)
  

Fix: Expenses – Cost account

• Cost not visible on expense. UI issue for employee. Introduced in API 2.6.8.1. Reported and fixed a week later. Once corrected, all data is represented as expected for all transactions.

• New Setting (App configuration): Enable/Disable multi-image select. We now offer an option to deselect our multi-image functionality for users who have extensive amounts of images in iCloud and might experience issues with attaching images to their transactions.

  • Opening a time-registration from any list, will open the “set of registrations for that category” with that registration in focus.
  • Add/edit improvement: Opening the time-report and filter by a date (focus-date). Then open an existing registration for editing. The selected date will be in focus for quick add/edit purpose. (Appose to add focus on the first date in the set).
