In Acubiz, it is possible to receive transaction data in real time, so that the transaction is recorded in Acubiz immediately after purchase with a credit card. Receiving transaction data in real time requires an additional purchase and setup in your Acubiz agreement as well as an agreement with the credit card provider for delivery of real-time data and Smart Receipts.
Basically, this means that Acubiz receives an authorization transaction from the credit card company, which causes the user to experience that the transaction is recorded in Acubiz in real time after the purchase. An authorization transaction can be processed completely as a final transaction.

Reserved and cleared transactions
When activating Real-time transaction data, a handling of changes between reserved amounts and cleared amounts is implemented. However, this rarely occurs in practice. Example:
- A received real-time reserved transaction is recorded with an amount of 400.00 DKK.
- When Acubiz receives the clearing transaction (transition from reserved to actual bank transaction), the amount has changed from 400.00 DKK to 412.00 DKK. This can, for example, be due to a currency conversion when purchasing abroad.
- If the user has already approved the transaction, it will be returned to the user, who must verify whether the receipt still matches the transaction.
- The normal approval flow continues as usual.
Optimized import of transaction data
With the implementation of real-time transaction data, the general import of E-transactions has been optimized (even without activating the Real Time module), so that E-transactions are generally loaded faster into the customer's Acubiz solution.

Updated overviews for Finance, so that you can see which transactions have been cleared or are awaiting clearing (authorizations).

Manually deleting reservations
As a finance user, you have the option to delete a reservation, regardless of where in the process the reservation is. This typically happens after the user has contacted the finance department and requested deletion of the reservation. Deleting a reservation does not affect the monthly statement from the bank, as a reservation constitutes an intermediate step in the process of a transaction until it has been cleared by the bank. Clearing implies that the bank has issued a final confirmation that the purchase has been completed on the card, while a reservation is only a temporary block that can be changed before clearing.
Reservations can be deleted manually via this overview.
What is the reason for deleting a reservation?
When you use your credit card, all transactions will result in a reservation of the amount in question. Several situations may arise where it is necessary to delete a reservation manually.

Charging an electric car
In cases where you try to charge your electric car, the charging station is activated with the credit card (either the physical card or via an app on the phone), which immediately triggers a reservation that is registered in Acubiz. If the user cannot get the charging station to work for various reasons, they will try another charging station using the same procedure until charging begins. The reservations made on the defective charging station will thus remain as active reservations in Acubiz. However, in most cases these reservations are automatically deleted via the bank. -
Hotel reservation
When booking a hotel stay online, a reservation can be triggered immediately. Once the stay has been completed, the overnight stay is paid for at the reception by credit card. In this case, the hotel booking and payment are made through two different and independent payment agreements with the hotel. Therefore, the original reservation remains unresolved and is not settled via the bank. The final payment at the reception will be recorded, but there will be no connection between the first reservation and the payment, resulting in the original reservation remaining active without settlement.
Of course, other situations than those mentioned above may occur. If the reservations are not automatically deleted via the bank, a finance user can manually delete the remaining reservations or wait for Acubiz to automatically delete them after 30 days.
Automatic deletion of reservations
Deletions of reservations can come directly from the bank, if they have assessed that a reservation should be deleted. When automatic deletions of reservations have come from the bank, these will be displayed in this overview.

Real-time notifications
Real-time notifications are sent in the Acubiz app for both transactions and Smart Receipts (there may be a slight time shift between these elements, even though they are related).
- Please note that each user must have enabled permission for the Acubiz app to display notifications.
Smart Receipts
Selected merchants can provide a digital receipt, which is automatically linked to the transaction in Acubiz, thereby eliminating the need for the user to take a picture of the physical receipt.
