To use the Acubiz app, you'll need to set permissions on your phone when you first open the app and start using its features.

Notifications

You'll need to decide if you want to allow Acubiz to send you push notifications.

Camera

Please specify if Acubiz can access your phone’s camera.

Photo Library

You’ll need to choose whether Acubiz can access your photo library.

• Restrict access
  Here, you can allow Acubiz to access only a specific album to save and retrieve images, instead of your entire photo library.
  • If you choose limited access, you’ll see this pop-up:
    
    • In your phone settings, you can add new photos to the collection by selecting "Edit selected photos."
    • Choose the photo you want to add and tap OK.
    • Then return to the Acubiz app.
    • Once back in the app’s gallery, you can select the photo you added.
• Allow full access
  This option lets Acubiz access your entire photo library. This can be helpful if you take pictures of receipts outside the app or want to use screenshots stored in your general library.
• Do not allow

Location

You’ll need to decide if Acubiz can use your location (GPS) for registering tax-free driving settlements.

• Allow once
  Acubiz will use your location just one time. Each time you register a drive, you’ll be asked to allow location access.
• Allow while using app
  This lets Acubiz use your location whenever you’re using the app for driving records.
• Do not allow

Permissions Settings

You can change these permissions anytime in your phone’s settings. Just find Acubiz and adjust the permissions as you prefer:
