American Express is a credit card issuer known for its premium credit cards and travel rewards, including a variety of exclusive benefits and services for its members.
Important: American Express is only able to configure the feed on Corporate Card accounts. If you have cards as a "Business Account", then you do NOT have a Control Account no, and Acubiz cannot receive files via American Express. This typically applies to smaller companies with a small number of cards. This must be clarified before you proceed with the application process below. |
In order to have American Express send credit card files to Acubiz, we need to fill out two forms.
- GDTF application form, where you must complete sections 1, 2 and 3.
- In section 1, use your Amex Master Control Account or Basic Control Account number. This is a "shadow" account number that is needed in the application process. If you do not have it, please contact Amex support to obtain this number.
- In section 2, Acubiz's name and address are already filled in, so you only need to fill in the "Country list..." with the relevant country codes (where the cards are issued): Note: The form must be printed (including the last page T&C) and signed and then scanned to PDF as one large file (Else Amex usually rejects the application)
- Feed Implementation Form Word form
- You only have to fill in sections A. and D. The rest must not be changed.
Both the Feed Implementation Form and the GDTF form must be completed and submitted to electronictransmissionsteam@aexp.com.
When Amex has completed the setup, you must provide the file name and account number to Acubiz via onboarding@acubiz.com
