When you receive your receipts digitally as PDF files (for example via email), you can conveniently transfer them directly to Acubiz from your smartphone or tablet. This is done quickly and easily by using your device’s built-in sharing function.
⚠️ Important regarding protected files: Unfortunately, Acubiz does not support PDF files that are password-protected, encrypted, or contain digital signatures.
If your PDF receipt is protected, you can instead take a screenshot of the receipt or save an unprotected copy of the file before sharing it.
How to do it:
- Find and open the PDF file:
Locate the receipt you want to register. This can be directly in your email app or in your device’s file archive. - Activate the sharing function:
When the PDF file is open on your screen, tap the share icon (often depicted as a square with an upward arrow on iOS or a branching icon on Android). - Select Acubiz:
Find and select Acubiz from the list of available apps. The receipt will now be sent directly to your personal document archive in Acubiz, where it is ready for further processing.
Note: Since the sharing function (Native Sharing) is an integrated part of your phone’s operating system, the appearance and location of this function may vary depending on the brand and model. If you are unsure how to share files on your specific device, we recommend consulting your phone’s user manual.
Example of sharing a PDF file
After opening the PDF file (either from your archive or as an attachment in an email), tap the share icon:
Then select SHARE FILE VIA to see the sharing options.
Find Acubiz in the list.
