Dimension Examples
A setup might include two dimensions:
- Department
- Project
Employees must select a department or project for accurate cost posting.
Acubiz offers various configuration options:
Department Dimension:
- Automatically filled for the employee.
- Can be locked and hidden.
- May be required for each settlement.
- Used only if needed.
- etc.
Project Dimension:
- Typically required for each settlement.
- Can be optional or mandatory.
Dimension Dependencies
Departments may restrict project access based on selection.
Example:
- Sales Department
- --Project A
- --Project B
- Marketing Department
- --Project C
- Finance Department
- --Project D
With this setup, employees in the Sales Department cannot select Project D, which is exclusive to the Finance Department.
