Depending on the company's setup in Acubiz, dimension values must be created and maintained for the employees who make settlements.
Example of Dimension Structure
A typical setup includes two central dimensions:
- Department
- Project
The employee must specify the relevant dimensions when settling to ensure correct accounting allocation.
Configuration Options in Acubiz
Department Dimension
- Pre-filled: The value is preset for the employee.
- Locked and hidden: The value is assigned automatically in the background without appearing on the settlement.
- Mandatory field: The value is blank and must be filled out for each settlement.
- Conditional field: The value is filled out only for specific types of settlements.
Project Dimension
- Specified in connection with each settlement.
- Can be configured as either optional or mandatory.

Dependency Between Dimensions
Rules can be created for dependencies so that a selected department level restricts access to relevant projects:
- Sales Department → Project A, Project B
- Marketing Department → Project C
- Finance Department → Project D
ℹ️ Example: An employee associated with the Sales Department will only have access to Project A and B – and thus cannot select Project D, which is reserved for the Finance Department.
