Create a New Dimension Value

Before creating a new dimension value, you should consider the following elements:

• Dimension Level: For example, Department, Project, or similar.
• Accounting Value: The specific code or ID to be transferred to the ERP system.
• Display Text: The text that the employee sees on a daily basis.

How to do it:

1. Select Dimension Level

   Select the desired dimension level where the new value should be placed (e.g., Project).
   

2. Enter Information

   Click Create and fill out the following fields to create the new value:
   

   • ID: Provide an internal Acubiz ID. Note: The ID must be unique across all dimension values and levels.
   • Name: Enter the display text that the employee should see in the system (e.g., the project name).
   • Accounting Value: Enter the exact value or code to be transferred to the ERP system (accounting system) during posting.
     
3. Press Save when you are finished.
