To ensure an optimal setup of Acubiz, it is necessary to upload master data. This data is provided by the customer and includes:
- User Data
- Dimension Data (e.g., departments, projects, cost centers)
Customer Tasks and Decision Basis
As a customer, you need to decide how data should be created and maintained in Acubiz. You have the choice between a manual solution or an automatic integration:

Manual Maintenance: Typically recommended for companies with under 50 users and few dimensions. Here, data is created and edited directly in Acubiz’s administration module via a web browser.
- Tip: You can download our user template at the bottom of this article. It helps structure the data and can be used for the initial data upload.
- Automatic Integration: Recommended for more than 50 users or complex dimension data. Here, data is automatically transferred from your central systems (e.g., an HR or ERP system) to Acubiz in a specific format.
- Combined Solution: It is also possible to combine the methods. For example, if you have few users but many projects (dimensions) that are frequently changed, users can be created manually while the dimensions are integrated automatically.
IT Resource Requirements for Automatic Integration
ℹ️ Note: If you choose automatic data integration, you must assign an IT resource to the project (either an internal employee or an external system provider). This resource should be able to assist with the technical setup and answer clarifying questions during implementation.
