Integration with e-conomic: Add Acubiz

To enable the integration between your e-conomic solution and Acubiz, we need a "TOKEN" from your e-conomic system. A "TOKEN" is the key that allows Acubiz to communicate with your specific version of e-conomic.

The following steps must be performed:

1. Create access for Acubiz in e-conomic
2. Create a cash journal in e-conomic for Acubiz transactions
3. Use the generated (saved) TOKEN (ID) in Acubiz

(1) Create access for Acubiz in e-conomic

You must be logged into the e-conomic account you want to give Acubiz access to. Then click this link, which generates the "Token" you need for the setup. This message will appear

Click ADD APP, and you will be redirected to Acubiz's website, where the TOKEN for the integration will be generated in your browser’s address bar.

Look in your browser’s address bar (Example)

Copy everything after the = sign, as this is the actual TOKEN-ID needed in Acubiz. COPY AND SAVE IT

(2) Create a new cash journal in e-conomic

Now we ask you to create a cash journal specifically for Acubiz postings. For example, name it ACUBIZ EMS. This name will be used in the next step.

(3) Set up Acubiz with TOKEN (ID) for e-conomic

Now Acubiz must be set up to use the saved TOKEN, so Acubiz sends data to the correct location. Go to ADMIN => COMPANY SETTINGS => EXPORT PROFILES. This is where the setup is done.

In the list of export profiles (may vary depending on setup), click on the export profile you want to configure... in this example, click on "2. Expenses"

Press EDIT on this export profile to access the setup options.

The following fields must be filled out/changed

• Use API export: Set to YES
• Cash journal name: Enter the name of the cash journal you created in e-conomic
• Integration type: Select e-conomic version 3
• Agreement no. / Token: Paste the TOKEN-ID from the previous step here
• Username: do not fill in/not used.
• Export type: Set to Scheduled
  • This means Acubiz automatically transfers data daily at 4 PM (CET), if there is data ready to be transferred.
