Data to Acubiz
For Acubiz to work properly, data must be entered into Acubiz. There is data such as:
- User data (Provided by customer)
- Dimensional data (Provided by customer)
The customer's focus areas regarding integration:
A decision must be made as to how users are to be created in Acubiz. Should it be handled manually or should automatic maintenance be performed. Automatic maintenance is the delivery of user data from a central system (possibly an HR system). The same may apply regarding dimensional data, which usually comes directly from the ERP system.
Manual or automatic maintenance
Regardless of the method of data integration, data must be entered into Acubiz. This can be done in 2 ways:
- Manual maintenance
With manual management, this means that users and dimensions must be manually created and maintained directly in the Acubiz administration module. Acubiz offers a complete administration module for creating and modifying both user and dimension data. This is done directly in Acubiz via a web browser. Feel free to look at our user template document: UserData_template.xlsx This can be used for structuring your user data and can also be used for the first time upload. - Automatic maintenance
If automatic integration is desired, one or more of the company's systems must be able to provide this data. Acubiz must have data delivered in a specific format and therefore the company must have an internal IT resource associated with this.
If the company has less than 50 users and few financial dimensions, manual handling can pay off best. For more users and dimensions, a talk about automatic integration is advised. It is also possible to make a combination of both manual handling and automatic integration, for example, if the company has few users but many projects (dimensions) that must be continuously updated and maintained (or vice versa).
Note: If automatic data integration is desired, the customer must provide an IT resource that must be included in the process. This IT resource can be internal (the company's own) or external (the company's supplier) and should preferably be available for clarifying questions in connection with any automatic integration of master data. |
Already in the initial phase, the customer can orient this IT resource around the requirements for this integration of data to Acubiz (users and dimensions).

In addition to master data (users and dimensions), there are other areas to be maintained in Acubiz. This is clarified at the implementation meetings.
