Acubiz allows users to add an extra approver in their profile settings.
Note. This setup is an additional feature and requires configuration setup from the Acubiz side. Contact Acubiz for further information.
This article discusses setting up an additional approver in Acubiz, specifically:
Mandatory 2nd Approver
In Acubiz, each user has a standard approver, but an additional required final approver can be added.
Example setup:
Activating "last approver required" disables incremental approval based on proxy. See: Application of approving power of attorney amounts (EMS and IMS)
Normal Approval Flow in Acubiz
All user transactions go to the registered approver in the Acubiz app.
- Company policy manager (CPM) settings may affect the flow. See Accounts to be approved by manager/Approver (CPM).
Approval Flow with Mandatory 2nd Approver
An additional approver is included, creating a linear flow with multiple stages for final approval.
All steps are managed in the Acubiz app.
- The flow can be affected by CPM settings. See Accounts to be approved by manager/Approver (CPM).
Alternative Approver
The alternative approver function operates similarly to the mandatory 2nd approver but has a different approval structure.
Example setup:
An alternative approver is selected for the user.
Approval Flow with Alternative Approver
The primary approver and the alternate approver hold equivalent authority. The individual who provides approval first will be considered the final approver.
This does not represent a two-approver principle; rather, it represents an alternative approval approach.
Example of alternative approver via web:
- General approval as 1st approver
- Approval as an alternative approver.
Note: The alternative approver cannot approve in the Acubiz app, but only via the web application.
