Language Support in Acubiz

The language layer in Acubiz is divided across the platform's two primary interfaces:

1. Administration Interface (Web browser)
2. Acubiz App (iOS and Android)

When a user changes the language, the language in the user interface (UI) changes accordingly.

1. Administration Interface (Web Browser)

Acubiz comes with default languages enabled from the start. Additional language layers can be purchased as needed.

Supported Languages by Country

Explanation of the table:

• * Default languages: An Acubiz solution always comes with English as the default language and the system country’s language as a secondary option.

• ** Update status: Indicates the coverage level of the translation.

  • Full: All elements in the interface are translated.

  • Partial: Some elements may appear in English.

• *** Other countries: Delivered primarily in English, but other supported languages can be activated upon agreement.

Adding New Companies or Language Layers

• New companies in an existing solution: When adding a new company in a new country to an existing Acubiz solution, the language layer is not automatically expanded. For example, if the solution includes Danish and English, adding a German company will not automatically add the German language.
• Purchasing language layers: It is always possible to purchase additional language layers from the list above — for example, if a Danish company has German-speaking employees. Contact Acubiz for pricing and options.

2. Acubiz App

The language in the Acubiz app is controlled directly via the device’s (phone’s) system language.

The app supports the following languages:

• English
• Danish
• Swedish
• Norwegian
• Finnish
• German
• French

Note: If the phone’s system language is not among the supported languages listed above, the app will automatically use English.

💡 Important Note About User-Defined Content

Master data and user-created lists are always displayed in the language in which they were created. This applies, for example, to:

• Financial dimensions (departments, projects, etc.)
• Cost types
• Required field labels and comments

These elements are not automatically translated when a user changes the language in the interface.
